Review Speed

Learning Communities — International Journal of Learning in Social Contexts is committed to providing authors with an efficient, transparent, and academically rigorous editorial and peer-review process.

Initial Screening: Manuscripts are normally screened by the editorial team within 7 days of submission. During this stage, submissions are assessed for relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission requirements, basic scholarly quality, originality, and suitability for peer review.

Peer Review Process: Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are forwarded for peer review. The average review process takes approximately 90 days, although the actual duration may vary depending on reviewer availability, the complexity of the manuscript, the number of revision rounds required, and the time taken by authors to respond to reviewer comments.

Acceptance to Publication: Once a manuscript has been formally accepted and all required publication materials have been completed, the journal normally aims to publish the article within 15 days.

These timeframes represent the journal's typical processing periods and should be regarded as approximate rather than guaranteed deadlines. The journal remains committed to maintaining rigorous editorial and peer-review standards while ensuring timely communication with authors throughout the publication process.
